Please complete the form below if you're interested in purchasing or using a vacant lot through the Land Bank. A vacant lot may be available for purchase or use whether it's already a vacant lot or will become one after structure(s) are demolished.
If you wish to build a major structure (a home or commercial building) on the vacant land, please contact the Land Bank at 419.213.4293 before further completing this application.
You will receive a written response from the Land Bank as soon as possible. Please be patient as we receive a high volume of applications each year.
When you are contacted by the Land Bank, you may be asked to enter into a purchase agreement at that time. All qualified neighbors are eligible to puchase vacant land under the Land Bank's policies. Properties are not sold on a "first come, first serve" basis. If there is more than one qualified applicant for a property, that property will be split between all applicants. You may be asked to pay a portion of the costs of a boundary survey if the property is split. Vacant land is usually sold for $150–300 per parcel. The Land Bank reserves the right to sell vacant land for its fair market value or for the value required by grant guidelines.
