When you buy a standard move-in ready property from the Land Bank, we're looking to make sure you have the financial means to close on the purchase and meet your new homeownership expenses going forward. We put a lot of love into these houses, and we want you to be able to enjoy them for decades to come!

Welcome Home Ohio Opportunities

We also have move-in ready homes available through funding from the Welcome Home Ohio Program. This program provides purchase and renovation funding to the Land Bank to create new housing opportunities for new local homeowners—helping to make sure homebuyers are not outcompeted by investors.

Because Welcome Home Ohio properties must be affordable, there are certain requirements for you to purchase the property:

• You must be income eligible at up to 80% of the Area Median Income

• You must agree to participate in homeownership counseling and at least one year of financial counseling support

• You must live in your new home for at least 5 years

• Because the property must remain affordable for 20 years, you will agree to a first right of purchase with the Land Bank
